根据官方介绍所述，《Trek to Yomi》讲述着年轻的剑士 Hiroki 发誓要保护他的城镇和所爱的人免受所有威胁，并开始面对悲剧肩负使命，踏上前进的道路，对抗邪恶势力。另外，本作也会还原经典武士电影的精神，以各种角度、视觉效果，在游戏中创造出独特的、真正的电影般享受。
