NCSOFT announced that its well-known MMORPG Blade & Soul will be launching a new remastered server called Blade & Soul NEO Classic, which is expected to go live in the spring of 2024, accompanied by the release of its first teaser trailer.
The upcoming Blade & Soul NEO Classic server will be built on Unreal Engine 4, focusing on optimizing game visuals and refining various details to enhance the overall gaming experience while preserving the essence of the original content.
According to official information from the Chinese server, the game will retrace back to the "Moonwater Plains" version. Main and side quests, dungeons, arenas, PvP faction maps, and more will remain unchanged, providing players with a nostalgic journey through the Blade & Soul world.
Furthermore, there are plans to introduce a seasonal system, a new equipment mechanism, and more, allowing players the freedom to experiment with different combat styles. The aim is to return to the core gameplay that tests players' combat mechanics.
