SEGA's brand-new title, Sonic Superstars, unveiled a new trailer during today's Gamescom 2023 ONL livestream. It was also revealed that the game is scheduled for release on October 17, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch / PC.

Sonic Superstars sets itself apart from Sonic Mania or Sonic Origins as a brand-new release by Sonic Team, offering fresh levels and content rather than being a remake or remaster of previous titles. Players will have the opportunity to play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy Rose, utilizing new powers of the Chaos Emeralds to navigate and attack in unique ways. Embark on a solo adventure or co-op with up to three other players to traverse breathtaking and unprecedented environments while attempting to thwart the plans of Dr. Eggman.
