Written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Masashi Asaki, The anime adaptation of My Home Hero has recently released a new PV and key visual. Produced by Tezuka Productions, the anime is set to premiere in April 2023. The opening theme song Ai no Uta ("Song of Love") will be performed by Chiai Fujikawa, while the ending theme song "Decided" will be performed by Dizzy Sunfist.
The story of My Home Hero follows a low-ranking office worker named Tetsuo Tosu, who dotes on his only daughter, Reika Tosu, who is now living alone due to work. One day, Tetsuo notices marks of violence on the face of his daughter during the two's meeting. On his way home, Teppei spots a man who looks like the perpetrator and follows him. The next day, Teppei sneaks back to his daughter's apartment, only to discover a shocking truth that changes the fate of their entire family. In order to protect his daughter and his family, Teppei embarks on a dangerous journey, leading to an intense and suspenseful story.
