During the recent Nintendo Direct livestream, Nintendo unveiled a brand new 2D side-scrolling game titled Super Mario Bros. Wonder with a trailer, revealing that the game is set to be released on October 20, 2023, and will be available on Nintendo Switch.

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, players can not only control Mario but also play as Daisy, Luigi, Princess Peach, and others. When you touch a Wonder Flower, the surrounding world will “come to life”, transforming gameplay in unpredictable ways. Each level is filled with different thrills and surprises waiting for you to explore, and with Mario also able to transform into his new Elephant form. Up to 4 players can play together in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
