Dead by Daylight, a multiplayer survival horror game released by Behaviour Interactive in 2016, recently announced on their official Twitter account that James Wan's Atomic Monster and Jason Blum's Blumhouse will collaborate to create a movie adaptation of the Dead by Daylight series. However, there is still a long way to go before the movie is officially released.

Atomic Monster Productions has previously released films such as The Conjuring franchise and Lights Out, while Blumhouse Productions has produced films such as The Purge series and MΞGAN. By the way, Blumhouse recently announced that they would be establishing a game studio, and that they are now working on an immersive horror game, which is set to be available on consoles and PC platforms.
