以人气网页游戏《舰队 Collection》所改编成 TV 动画的《舰队 Collection》第二季于近日释出最新宣传视觉图让粉丝浏览，并表示动画将在 2022 年 11 月放送开始，同时制作团队同步发表。据官方公告表示，TV 动画第二季总共只有 8 话。
《舰队 Collection》动画二期将由「时雨」担任主角，以西村舰队作为主轴，如无意外的话故事剧情方面则是以「雷伊泰湾海战」作为背景设定。至于动画是否会按照战舰历史重演这点就要看放送后的表现了...
