近日有外媒报道传闻称，EA Games 旗下的《Need for Speed》系列即将在今年 11 月推出最新作，但这一代或许仅会专注于次世代主机平台。如果这个消息属实，那代表 EA 在策略上已经作出了变化，而且早在去年官方就宣布《Need for Speed》系列会推迟一年，因为当时开发商 Criterion Games 转去负责协助《Battlefield 2042》研发工作。此外，据说这款全新的《Need for Speed》背景舞台将会设定于迈阿密，至于更多细节就不得而知，准确消息也有待官方正式发表。
