Developed and published by the French studio Sloclap, brawler game Sifu was released on February 8, 2022 for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / PC (Epic Games Store), and nine months later for Nintendo Switch.

It is now confirmed that the critically acclaimed game will be coming to Xbox Series / Xbox One / Steam on March 28, coinciding the release of a new free expansion titled "Arenas". The new expansion will pack up to 10 hours of extra gameplay, introducing 9 new locations and 45 ruthless challenges over 5 game modes.

Sifu is a game inspired by classic kung fu movies, set in a fictional Chinese city, and tells the story of a young martial arts student. His family was massacred by a mysterious assassination squad, so he spends his entire life training in martial arts, embarking on an avengeful journey to hunt down the murderers. Players will face a series of challenging obstacles and discover ancient puzzles through exploration, all of which will test their skills and wisdom. In addition, to overcome unfavorable situations, players will need to rely on their mastery of martial arts skills and mystical pendants that allow them to resurrect upon death, but at a cost: each resurrection will significantly increase the age of the protagonist.
