Amnesia: The Bunker, which was originally planned to be released on May 23 for Playstation 4 / Xbox Series / Xbox One / Steam / Epic Game Store, has announced via Twitter another delay to June 6, 2023.
The developers, Frictional Games, revealed that during the testing phase, they encountered rare game-crashing issues that were challenging to identify and required some time to fix. Unable to meet the scheduled release date, the team ultimately decided to postpone it.
Amnesia: The Bunker is the latest title of the popular horror game series Amnesia. The game will be played on first-person perspective, and will feature semi-open world gameplay and sandbox-like survival elements. The game is set during WW1, where the player, taking on the role of the French soldier Henri Clément, must try to figure out the mysteries of the eponymous bunker, while struggling to find his way out of it.
