此前就有不少传闻指出 KONAMI 正在筹备《潜龙谍影》系列作品的重制版，而最近恰巧《潜龙谍影崛起》雷电声优 Quinton Flynn 在推特上发文介绍名为 CAMEO 配音网站，底下便有粉丝表示《潜龙谍影崛起》即将在今年二月迈入十周年，其中还提到是否有可能在未来的《潜龙谍影》发布会中看到《潜龙谍影崛起 2》。

结果真的得到了雷电声优的回应，并表示：「请继续关注未来几周内宣布的事情😉」，虽然目前 KONAMI 并未有公布任何关于《潜龙谍影》系列的计划，但鉴于《寂静岭》已经确定重启，那么《潜龙谍影》相信只是时间问题而已，究竟会是重制版还是新作呢，实在令人期待，准确消息有待官方发表为准。
