Developed by Luminous Productions, a subsidiary of Square Enix, Forspoken has received mostly negative reviews since its launch on January 25, with most criticizing the game's bad performance, empty content, and so on.
According to Steamdb, the game that was released not more than a month ago has received only around 57% of positive reviews, and its number of concurrent players has dropped to around 300-500 people. Hi-Fi RUSH, which was shadow dropped a day later than Forspoken, still has more than 1000 concurrent players and more than 94% of positive reviews.
Despite the disappointing sales and reception, director of the game Takeshi Aramaki has stated on Twitter that they will continue to improve the game based on user feedbacks and will release a new patch as soon as possible.
