Ubisoft unveiled an exciting new story trailer and an extensive 8-minute gameplay demo for the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Mirage at the Ubisoft Forward livestream event held earlier today. The footage revealed various in-game level designs, assassination gameplays, and parkour elements. The game is set to be released on October 12, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / PC.

Set primarily in 9th-century Baghdad, a time known as the Islamic Golden Age, Assassin's Creed Mirage will delve into the journey of Basim Ibn Ishaq. Basim, originally a street thief, undergoes a transformation as he becomes a dedicated member of the Assassin Brotherhood, who strives for peace and freedom, standing in opposition to the Templar Order, who seek to impose control in the name of peace.
