In today's DROP 01 showcase hosted by Netflix, it was officially announced that the renowned action game series Tomb Raider, originally created by Core Design, will be adapted into an animated series titled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, with a teaser trailer released at the same time. The animated series will be produced by Legendary and is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2024.
It appears that Lara will once again become entangled in a new quest, as Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is set to continue the storyline from the events of 2013's Tomb Raider, 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider, and 2018's Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
