During the recent Nintendo Direct event, Square Enix officially announced their new installment in the Dragon Quest Monsters series, titled Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. The game is planned to be released on December 1 this year for Nintendo Switch.

According to official introduction, in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, join Psaro, a cursed demon prince (also the main antagonist in Dragon Quest IV), on a journey through the fantastical world of Nadira as he scouts, combines, and builds a party of monsters to take into battle on his path to become the Master of Monsterkind.
