During the recent "Jump Festa 2024", the latest teaser trailer, key visual, additional voice cast, and production team details were announced for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the baseball manga series Boukyaku Battery, created by Eko Mikawa. The anime is scheduled to begin airing in April 2024, with MAPPA handling the production.

Boukyaku Battery revolves around a cohort of former baseball players who, by the hand of destiny, find themselves attending the same university after leaving the sport behind. Since the university lacks a baseball team, this collective, who had competed against each other over the years, decides to join forces and establish a team. Their journey sees them rekindling their enthusiasm for the sport as they resume playing together.
