BANDAI NAMCO 旗下免费游玩的机甲对战射击游戏《机动战士高达 激战任务 2》对应 STEAM 平台版于今日发布一则公告表示，本作将从原定的 2022 年延期至 2023 年推出，至于更具体的推出日暂时未发表，只能等官方后续公布。附带一提，本作此前已经在 Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 平台上推出，有兴趣的粉丝可以下载玩玩看。
《机动战士高达 激战任务 2》是一款以「机动战士高达」中的宇宙世纪为题材，采用基本免费游玩的团队对战型动作游戏。在本作中，玩家可以与世界各地的玩家展开最多 6 VS 6 的线上团队对战，同时还可以利用步兵在敌人的据点上设置炸弹、要求支援炮击等来扰乱战局。在战斗结束后玩家收集到可以用来改装机甲的 DP，进一步提升自身机甲的功能。
