很快的，343 官方就在社交平台上发布简短声明，表示「光环和士官长将留在这里，343 Industries 将在现在和未来继续开发 Halo，包括史诗故事、多人游戏以及更多让 Halo 变得伟大的东西」。虽然《光环》并不会因此而停下，但是这种规模的裁员确实很打击士气，希望这些受影响的工作室都能缓过来。
