During today's State of Play livestream, Ubisoft officially unveiled the story trailer for the new installment in the Avatar game series, titled Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game is scheduled for release on December 7, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.

According to official description, in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you, a Na'vi abducted by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA, were trained and molded to serve their purpose. Fifteen years later, you are free, but find yourself a stranger in your birthplace. Reconnect with your lost heritage, discover what it truly means to be Na’vi, and join other clans to protect Pandora from the RDA.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set in the world of Avatar after the events of the first film. Players will embark on a journey to the western frontier, an uncharted land on the planet Pandora, where they will join forces with other Na'vi to resist the powerful forces of the Resources Development Administration (RDA) and protect Pandora. This game is a collaboration between Disney and James Cameron's production company, Lightstorm Entertainment, which is designed to provide players with a first-person open-world action-adventure experience optimized for new-generation consoles and PC, offering stunning visuals and immersive gameplay.
