在今天凌晨，The Game Awards 2022 正式公开了所有奖项的提名作品，同时也已经开放玩家投票，备受全球玩家关注的年度最佳游戏共有六款游戏被提名，分别包括《A Plague Tale: Requiem》、《Elden Ring》、《God of War Ragnarok》、《Horizon Forbidden West》、《Xenoblade Chronicles 3》以及《STRAY》，而其中入围的《STRAY》却不被所有人认可。
有位名为 Gorkem 的推特用户就在相关帖文下留言抱怨，表示“如果《STRAY》赢了，我将彻底失去对这个行业的希望”，结果就因为这个留言，官方直接将其转推，并且以一张“猫舔屁屁”的 GIF 图作为回应。当然，这个留言同时也吸引了不少玩家争论，有些认为《STRAY》确实不值得入围，更应该是《SIFU》取而代之，也有人觉得《STRAY》非常好玩有趣应该入围，只能说见仁见智，大家觉得呢？
