在前天 Playstation Plus 全新方案正式上线，但却引发了大批老玩家的强力不满，怒斥官方“坑钱”，起因是原本早期以折扣价格入手 PS Plus 会员的玩家，若是要升级其他新方案，甚至还要把之前折扣的金额一并补齐才能升级，此举直接令很多玩家都不能接受和反感。
而在今日，官方正式出面回应表示，“由于技术错误，之前以折扣价购买 PlayStation Plus 会员资格的亚洲玩家被错误地收取了升级价格的费用。此错误已得到修复，受影响的玩家将获得退款”。
