At yesterday's "404 GAME RE:SET" livestream, SEGA officially announced that its new mobile game, co-created with renowned game writer Taro Yoko, is scheduled to be released in Asia on April 25, 2023 for Android / iOS. The game has already launched its pre-registration campaign. Additionally, the game's prologue story, told from the perspective of a researcher, will be released on April 17 to introduce players to the world, characters, and combat elements of 404 GAME RE:SET.

404 GAME RE:SET is a game created by SEGA, for SEGA. The story starts with SEGA dominating various fields, from basic infrastructures to entertainment. One day, players, living in this world, encounter a mysterious entity known as X, who bluntly states, "The place you live in is not the 'correct' world." It is then discovered that the world has been dominated by SEGA, prompting players to participate in the war against SEGA, all to restore the world to its original state.
