Atomic Heart available for up to 40% off on Steam, first DLC dropping in August

Atomic Heart, a sci-fi first-person shooter game created by Mundfish and published by Focus Entertainment, has announced its first DLC called Annihilation Instinct, which marks the commencement of a series of four DLCs and can be accessed through the Atomic Pass, included in the Gold and Premium Editions of the game. The DLC is set to be available on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series / Xbox One / PC starting from August 2.

By the way, along with the newly released patch 1.8.0.0, the much coveted New Game+ mode is now available, featuring enemies with new abilities such as immunity to specific attacks or new attack effects against the player, represented via the color of their aura.

It's also worth mentioning that the game is currently available on Steam with a discount of up to 40%, so make sure not to miss your chance to grab it at a cheaper price as the offer lasts only until June 30!

In the Annihilation Instinct DLC, experience the next chapter of Atomic Heart and uncover the incidents that happened after the climax of the main game. Embark on a journey in the new area Mendeleev Complex, which is surrounded by swamps, to unravel the secrets surrounding NORA as Major P-3 is pulled back into Facility 3826.

Facing new shape-shifting enemies, you are presented with two new weapons — the ranged Secateur and the melee Klusha — as well as a new glove ability called Techno-Statis, which allows you to manipulate time. You'll also get to meet a mysterious new character, alongside the unexpected reappearance of familiar faces, as you dive deep into the AI’s insanity to curb its Annihilation Instinct.

Available now on PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series / Xbox One / PC (Steam), Atomic Heart is set in an alternative world where Polymer, an super-substance able to power future technologies, is invented in the USSR. The economical growth brought by the breakthrough has allowed the country to quickly recover from World War 2 and become a leading global power. You will assume the role of KGB agent Sergey Nechaev, who was sent on a mission to investigate the mystery behind the rampage of the robots in Facility No. 3826.
