Sega has recently announced that the sequel to their game Samba de Amigo, titled Samba de Amigo: Party Central, will feature content from the Sonic series, including music and levels. Players will be able to experience the energetic songs "Fist Bump" from Sonic Forces and "Escape From The City" from Sonic Adventure 2, as well as a level adapted from "City Escape" in Sonic Adventure 2, where Sonic will dance alongside Amigo.
The upcoming game Samba de Amigo: Party Central will utilize the Switch Joy-Con as maracas to hit rhythm balls that appear in sync with the music, aiming to get them into the designated zone at the appropriate time. Players must swing the Joy-Con at the proper angle while following on-screen instructions to dance or pose along with the upbeat rhythms of popular music. The game is set to release in the summer of 2023 on the Nintendo Switch platform, with support for multiplayer gameplay.
