今日开发商 Nightdive Studios 释出了《System Shock》重制版最新预告片，同时在今日开放了免费试玩版，并宣布预计将在 2021 年夏季正式发售，登陆 PC 平台，现已在 Steam / GOG / Epic 上开放预购，售价为 75 令吉，凡是预购《System Shock》重制版的玩家，当《System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition》推出时将会免费获得。
《System Shock》是一款 1994 年推出的第一人称动作冒险游戏，而开发商 Nightdive Studios 早在 2016 年于 Kickstarter 上发起了制作重制版的众筹活动，得到了许多玩家的支持以及募资，金额达到了 1,350,700 美元。本作的背景设定在 2072 年的太空站上，玩家将扮演一名无名的安全黑客，在太空站上探索以及与敌人战斗，解决难题并试图阻碍名为 SHODAN 的恶意人工智能计划。除此之外，重制版更新了游戏机制、图形、敌人AI系统、全新的武器库、增加了全新可探索区域等等。
