近日 Netflix 宣布了拍摄《Gundam》系列真人版电影的消息，将由负责过《Godzilla vs. Kong》的 Legendary Pictures 制作，以及担任过《Kong: Skull Island》导演的 Jordan Vogt-Roberts 负责执导共同合作，更多细节详情，如角色主演、故事背景设定等等有待日后公布。
实际上，早在 2018 年的时候 Legendary Pictures 就已经宣布过将与 Sunrise 合作开拍真人版《Gundam》系列电影，或许本次公布的消息是同个制作项目。
