曾经负责过《最终幻想零式》、《最终幻想15》的游戏制作人田畑端几年前从 Square Enix 离职之后便成立 JP Games 工作室，开发了以残奥会为题材的《The Pegasus Dream Tour》运动类游戏。近日，他在最新一期的 Weekly Famitsu 上透露，目前正在开发两款游戏大作，并且还会与大公司合作。
除此之外，他表示第一个游戏项目已经完成了前期制作，是一款实验性的高速 RPG 游戏，可以理解为《最终幻想零式》的进化版。制作人希望透过浓缩 RPG 玩法来缩短通关时间，使玩家能快速的体验到当中的精髓，同时还能透过多人游玩找到更多乐趣。而第二个项目则是才刚刚开始制作，将会是全球 3A 级的游牧类 RPG 游戏，可以视为《最终幻想 15》的进化版，玩家可以在游戏内自由探索。
