任天堂旗下 2019 年发售的“2D Mario”系列衍生作品《Super Mario Maker 2》于今日宣布，本作玩家自制关卡数量突破 2600 万张不同种类的挑战图，本作曾在 2020 年 9 月份的时候突破了 2000 万张，没想到仅仅花上几个月的时间再次突破 600 万张自创地图。
《Super Mario Maker 2》最初是在 2019 年 6 月正式登陆 Nintendo Switch 平台，随后在 2020 年 4 月份的时候推出一个大型更新，其中增加了许多游戏功能以及创造世界地图等内容，这为许多创作者与玩家开阔了更多的创作空间以及游玩空间，可以说是一个游戏多种体验。
